Unfortunately, you only have a limited number of output formats to choose from in Free Sound Recorder - namely MP3, WAV or WMA) although that's enough for most people's needs.
There aren't many editing options in Free Sound Recorder after you've finished recording so bear in mind you'll need a decent editor afterwards if you plan to do further work with your recordings. You can however add some moderate effects to voice recordings although these add up to nothing more than a bit of distortion.
